ProBiotein has a tiny, tiny bit of gluten. Just 0.3%, which is 332 ppm (parts per million). So while it’s not zero, it’s super low. True celiacs (about 1% of the population) should be aware of this gluten level, but most everyone else should be fine.
The majority of your immune system – over 70% – resides in your large intestine. Here, probiotic bacteria help control your resistance to illness, your inflammatory response to pathogens, and messaging to your brain. ProBiotein's blend of 4 Prebiotic Fibers can support your probiotic bacteria.
Most prebiotic products are made with a single prebiotic fiber – usually inulin. It's well studied, but can't offer the full range of nutrients that come from ProBiotein's blend of 4 Prebiotic Fibers plus concentrated protein. Our flax provides Omega-3, antioxidants and lignans. Studies show one of our prebiotic fibers – MOS – supports immunity and increased protection against pathogens. ProBiotein also has amino acids to support your body's energy and protein needs.
Fermenting ProBiotein's ingredients helps break down the natural grains and creates a microbial proliferation of yeast. That yeast consumes the sugars, then multiplies and produces beneficial metabolites. Starches are removed. Proteins are concentrated. Prebiotics are produced.
