Adults should take 1 Tablespoon (3 teaspoons, 7.5 grams) per day. Children 3 to 12 should take 1 1/2 teaspoons (3.75 grams) per day.

You can take it any time, day or night, with or without food. Because it's completely natural with no sweeteners or flavoring added, most people prefer to mix it into food or drink. Blend into juices, smoothies, warm or cold breakfast cereals, applesauce, soups, sauces, warm dishes. Check our recipe section for more ideas.

A good way for adults to start is with 1 teaspoon per day for a week (1/2 tsp morning, 1/2 tsp evening), then 2 tsp per day for a week (1 tsp morning, 1 tsp evening), and finally the 1 Tablespoon (3 teaspoons) per day (1 1/2 tsp morning, 1 1/2 tsp evening) thereafter.

Children age 3 to 12 should take half the adult dose. Start with 1/2 teaspoon per day for a week (1/4 tsp morning, 1/4 tsp evening), then 1 tsp per day for a week (1/2 tsp morning, 1/2 tsp evening), and finally the 1 1/2 teaspoons per day (3/4 tsp morning, 3/4 tsp evening).

ProBiotein has a tiny, tiny bit of gluten. Just 0.3%, which is 332 ppm (parts per million). So while it’s not zero, it’s super low. True celiacs (about 1% of the population) should be aware of this gluten level, but most everyone else should be fine.

The majority of your immune system – over 70% – resides in your large intestine. Here, probiotic bacteria help control your resistance to illness, your inflammatory response to pathogens, and messaging to your brain. ProBiotein's blend of 4 Prebiotic Fibers can help nourish your probiotic bacteria to promote better digestion and better health.

Most prebiotic products are made with a single prebiotic fiber – usually inulin. It's well studied, but can't offer the full range of nutrients that come from ProBiotein's blend of 4 Prebiotic Fibers plus concentrated protein. Our flax provides omega-3, antioxidants and lignans. Studies show one of our prebiotic fibers – MOS – may improve immunity and offer increased protection against pathogens. ProBiotein also has 4 digestive enzymes to aid in better digestion, and amino acids to help your body get the energy and protein it needs.

Fermenting ProBiotein's ingredients helps break down the natural grains and creates a microbial proliferation of yeast. That yeast consumes the sugars, then multiplies and produces beneficial metabolites. Starches are removed. Proteins are concentrated. Prebiotics are produced.

Yes. A leading bread authority has noted that when he added ProBiotein to a bread dough, it made "the best tasting bread I've ever eaten." So breads, pizza crusts, baked goods, gravies, sauces, soups and any other hot dish you can think of can be healthier with ProBiotein. One thing though. The 4 digestive enzymes in ProBiotein will lose some of their effectiveness when the temperature rises over 140° F. But the prebiotic fibers will still work fine.

We recommend that you use ProBiotein within 12 months of opening the container, and within 24 months of purchase.
